Michael James Grover is a founding partner of Grover Loudermilk, PLLC. Mike grew up in Colleyville, and Tarrant County has always been his home. Before he moved to Fort Worth to establish Grover Loudermilk, Mike owned his own firm in Grapevine. His practice focuses on estate planning, elder law, guardianships, probate, and estate administration.

During his first year after graduating from law school, Mike worked for a boutique estate planning and elder law firm. He then opened his own firm in Grapevine to continue providing services focused on those areas. Several years later, he became a staff attorney at Tarrant County Probate Court No. 2, working for Judge Pat Ferchill (now retired).

Mike and firm partner Bob Loudermilk met through their service at the Court, although they did not work there at the same time. The two accomplished attorneys built a strong friendship after making their professional connection through their Probate Court service.

At the Probate Court, Mike’s work focused primarily on guardianship, elder law, and trust matters. During his tenure, he also served as the first Public Probate Administrator for Tarrant County (a position that Bob Loudermilk was instrumental in creating), following his appointment by the Tarrant County Commissioner’s Court and Judge Ferchill.

In 2017, Mike returned to private practice in Grapevine. Bob and Mike talked often of setting up a practice together. Their shared commitment to and passion for probate and estate matters and their similar experiences made them a natural combination. Finally, in August 2019, those plans became a reality when they established Grover Loudermilk and began practicing together.

The experience and background that Mike cultivated through his private practice and during his service at the Probate Court provide him with unusually broad and deep knowledge and skill. His primary focus on matters relating to probate and estates sets him apart from many other attorneys who offer similar services. Many new clients find Mike through referrals from other attorneys, demonstrating the great extent to which the legal profession and local community value his distinctive credentials.

Mike’s relationships with his clients reflect his comfortable, relaxed style. He puts clients at ease, while ensuring that he responds to all concerns and questions. Regardless of what type of a matter is involved, Mike focuses on providing top-notch client service as well as exceptional legal services. Clients appreciate his timely, thorough communication at all stages of a matter.

Mike and his wife Hayley live in Fort Worth along with their son Charlie and a heeler named Dolly. When Mike takes time away from work, they love to travel and share new experiences. Mike enjoys running and is an avid outdoorsman. Fishing and hunting are his favorite sporting activities.
